no, i rarely do sleep well when not at home. I dont even sleep well while i am at home! but sleep much more poorly when i am away from my cozy bed! i do take my own pillows if i have to sleep elsewhere though, this does help.

I've had experiences like this. What I try and do is bring somethings from home into the new environment. Maybe a blanket or pillow. Maybe some music or candles. Something you find homey. Might make you more comfortable.

Generally, I don't have any problems with falling asleep. The only one problem for me is a lack of suitable pillows. I used to sleep with two pillows - one quite big and one small. When I don't have my small pillow, I feel a little strange.

This problem is always there for me. When I go out of station, especially, apart from waking up in the train whole night, next day also I never get sleep in the new place. Then I will be tired and feeling giddy next day long. I cannot concentrate on any thing and cannot enjoy anything. I went for a tour for four days. Apart from roaming along the whole day, no sleep for four days. I fell sick for a week, after returning. Even the digestive system gets affected. My husband says everything psychological.

No, its not easy. It would be very difficult for me. I am not that kind you can easily sleep when im not on my room. Its just really different. I would just be turning around the whole night.
