My dad got me started on eating brown eggs and they are good. I think brown eggs taste better than white eggs. And yes White chickens lay White eggs and Brown chickens lay Brown eggs. I was just wondering if you like white or brown eggs and why?

I have never had brown eggs. I am not against them, I just really thought what's the difference? They are both chicken eggs. How is the taste different?

I like white eggs but only because I am strange. My hubby likes brown eggs says they taste better. I like white eggs only because they never seem to have that little dot of pre-chicken blood in them and I find that more in brown eggs and it turns me off.

You must not be getting good brown eggs then. I have never found blood in mine.

Yes I agree with your statement. Brown eggs are tasty than white eggs. They are better for health than white eggs. White eggs are the production of poultry forms. Our villagers believe that the white eggs provided by poultry form are artificial and brown eggs are natural. I don’t know about the truth and false of the villagers statement, But I, myself experienced that the brown are tasty than white.

I like brown eggs and white eggs..I prefer the brown tho...Are you sure that white chickens lay only white eggs?...You are so funny because it is the hens that lay eggs not the chickens...right?

I have all colors of eggs. Brown, white, blue, green, even pink eggs. I am not sure about the "white chickens lay white eggs and brown chickens lay brown eggs" statement. I think it depends on the breed of chicken. The only difference I have ever noticed is the size of the egg. They all taste the same to me and from what I have been told, free range chicken eggs are really about the same as far as taste and health benefits go. I don't really know either way though, I just buy my eggs when I need them regardless of color or brand. I buy what is available at my local market. Eggs are eggs to me.

In our country, almost all the color of eggs are white. We hardly ever see brown ones, and I think it depends on what breed they came from. I also would like to think if they have the same calorie and cholesterol content.

I'm fine with either egg. I just eat whatever we've got, when I want them. Since my mother-in-law, had her stroke, we inherited her chicken care. So now, in addition to my dogs and cats, I'm taking care of 30 or so chickens. I'm not enjoying it, for sure. lol So, we have several brown eggs, and she has one white chicken, so we get an occasional white egg. She has a bunch of roosters, that I want to give away, or sell, because she murdered them and ate them, I won't do that, and I can't afford to feed them, and I don't have the time or energy to care for them. My husband insists that he wants to keep the hens, because he wants to keep the eggs. We don't eat alot of eggs, so to me, it's a waste of money, and time to keep them. SO, anyway, back to the subject. I don't have a preference.

I have eaten both. Never thought there was much of a difference in taste. I have noticed a size difference between the two eggs though. Guess I'll pay closer attention next time I have brown eggs.
