So Condie and company are holding a Middle Eastern peace summit - chief among the issues are a Palestinian nation.
I'm curious, how many people believe that there was once a Palestinian nation now occupied by Israelis?

This is a very misleading video and I know there is information that does not support this!! I wonder who produced this video. Don't believe everything you see! I read a book that said Christopher Columbus discovered America! you see what I am saying here. Maybe there was no land called Palestine but that does not mean these people did not occupy this area. The Natives of this land didn't call in America before the pilgrim slaughtered them. Six-seven million Jews were killed during the holocaust(While the Jews still thrived in America and other countries) and we are made to feel soooo sorry for these people. 100 MILLION AFRICANS were killed during the Slave trade and yet NO interest is shown whatsoever to starving African nations or impoverished African American families in America.

There is no denial that the land now occupied by Israel used to belong to another people - Genesis 15:18-21. Whether the current Palestinians are that people or their decendants is a subject for another discussion.
Israel, the creation of Holy texts, is and has always been a nomadic people. As a matter of fact, the Israelites/Israelis are simply the decendants of Abraham through Jacob, Abraham's grandson. Israel is more of a dynasty. And I think it is unrealistic and very unfair not to expect the decendants of the original inhabitants to hold claims to their natural inheritance!

Ah but I asked rather specifically about a nation known as Palestine.

cdelascasas, I gave you a specific response with attachment included: "Whether the current Palestinians are that people or their decendants is a subject for another discussion."
Genesis 15:18-21 specifies the parcel that was to be the land promised to the Israelites/Israelis. My inference is that, could the present day Palestinians be the Kenites, Kenizzites, Kadmonites; the Emorites, Canaanites, Girgashites and Jebusites or their decendents as mentioned in Genesis 15:18-21, just as the Turkish are known to be the Hittites?

In my opinion your question should be, will be there ever peace between the two nations? Can two different nations co exist in one piece of land?
