Does the outing of Dumbledore effect the way you see the character or the stories in any way?

It doesn't change the way I see the character or the stories. Dumbledore is Dumbledore. He's an essential character to the books and a great example. Although, I don't see why she needed to reveal that info - it wasn't important to the books. Although it did explain his little 'blind' period.

No, not at all. It doesn't change the character we saw come to life over the course of seven books, the things he did and accomplished, the sacrifices he made. I still find him wise and kind and a great mentor to Harry and the students of Hogwarts.

Nope, don't care at all. It doesnt' change my opinion of the character or the way I view him. Actually, I started to suspect that he might be in the 3rd and 4th books. I'm not sure what it was that set off my gaydar, but something did.

I really don't care whether he's gay or a transvetite. He will always be the Dumbledore that I have come to love and admire. Oh god listen to me I sound like a thirteen year old Harry addict! But it really doesn't matter to me. And it shouldn't matter to anyone either because this little fact doesn't change anything at all in the story. It's just more of Dumbledore's history.

No, it doesn't. The story is brilliant and no issues will ever destroy what Harry Potter have claimed. The character of Dumbledore portrayed bravery, intelligence, and a lot of things you could think of.
