Is MyLot a scam?

Hello there, I am posting this knowing full well the risk I run of my account being deleted, but I just wondered if anybody on this site has actually reached payout and been paid??
So far, I know of at least three cases in which valued members of the MyLot community have reached payout and then their accounts have been mysteriously deleted!!
So, I'm just wondering if anyone has actually reached payout. If you don't want to answer this post in case you're account gets deleted too, PM me and let me know!
Thanks for your help, and let's hope that these valued members get their account back!

There is usually a good reason for accounts to be terminated. But I can assure you that mylot pays. I've been paid 4 times and I'm still around. Sometimes members may not even realize they have done something wrong. That is why it's best to read the guidelines and FAQs. And I wouldn't think your account would be deleted for this. Because if it was, then we would really have some problems. : )

Well, you kinda have to look at what you're getting here... And what you're paying for it. Well, you're paying nothing for it but your time. So, what's your time worth? What would you be doing otherwise?? Watching TV? Do you get paid for that? Do you enjoy it? So, if you didn't get paid here at myLot (and there are plenty of forums that don't pay) would you still be here? Meeting new people and having some pretty cool discussions? That doesn't sound too bad to me!!
But, yes, myLot does pay - not as well as they used to, but they do pay.

It seems that most of the first responders you have received are from veteran mylot members, so I hope that you already got the message.
Mylot is the only forum site that still fully operates after a year has passed, hopefully it still continues it's main goals and help others who are enjoying this site while discussing things in a fruitful manner.
Those members who were kicked out of here were most likely the one's that violated the rules and this sites guidelines, so if you want to stay long here, you have to follow them..

I have been a member for just over 9 months and I have gotten paid 7 times. Two of those 9 months I didn't reach payout. I was too busy with other things to devote much time to mylot. I love this site. I get to talk to other people and I get paid a little bit for my opinions.
I would agree with some earlier posters that there is usually a good reason for someone's account to be deleted. I haven't had any problems with payouts.

Any secret for being posting only 505 and got paid twice? Here has some myLotters who posted over 500 and earning is only $4.

I've been paid a number of times already. I have to say so far I'm happy with mylot. I don't expect to get rich but I've met some cool (and not so cool) people. I have taken part in some very interesting and heated discussions. I have never not been paid either when I have had the minimum.

Do you have referrals? With only 1127 posts have you been paid "A NUMBER OF" times? That is incredible.

First of all let me ask you, from where you have got the idea that mylot is scam?
It is not at all a scam.
If you add a paypal account after you reach your payout amount, you will efinitely paid.
I am paid from mylot.
Here there are so many people who have been paid from it.

I reached and received my first payment several months ago. I am not always especially active here, so it usually takes me more than a couple months to actually reach the minimum payout amount. However, I can assure you that this is an honest paying site.

Nope, as far as I'm concerned MyLot is not a scam. I reached my 50 dollar payout in September, and I got it :) If your account gets deleted then it is for a bigger reason because they do pay!

I have had one payout and looking forward to another soon. I don't know why certain accounts are deleted, I do think however, that if someone did do something to cause their account to be deleted, mylot should at least notify them of the reason..

hi there.Mylot is definitely not a scam site. I've been here 4 months and I've been paid once. My earnings are sitting patiently in my moneybookers account. As much as I want to spend more time here at MyLot, I just don't have that extra time. Not unless I choose not to sleep at night, and just type the night away.^_^
I positively believe that MyLot does not delete accounts because they have to pay that particular member. As what have already told you, there may be some rules that have been broken and that left MyLot no choice but to terminate their accounts.

I've meet a few people who have been paid. The people who's account got deleted might have violated the terms and conditions of mylot. This is after all a privately run site and when signing up we did agree to certain terms and conditions.

Wow, I never realised I would get a good response!
I just wondered what on earth is going on with all these accounts being deleted and such like. One member in particular, I have kept in touch with out of MyLot and I have read her posts and discussions, and to be honest, I don't think I can spot a single mistake on her part!
Still, I guess only time will tell what will happen! I haven't yet reached payout, but hopefully soon!
Thank you so much for all of your responses, I really appreciate it!
Take care!

One of 'those' friends is back - she must have done something wrong so this time she'll try and abide by the book :)
Don't think about 'this' friend anymore cos I'm here now! Hugs xxx

Mylot is not a scammed site.
I believe it because it has many patrons, some already reached 10,000 or more points and yet they are still here, so I believe it is not a scam. If mylot is not paying, this people will never be here again. They will never interact with us the way they are doing right now.
