Do u cheack spelling of your mylot posts?

I normally read over and make corrections but I have noticed that whenever I am tired I make a lot of mistakes and dont see them until the mext day and then I say Gilr you need to learn to type and spell! I am a secretary by profession and I make so many mistakes on mylot it is not funny. I laugh at myself though because if I typed a document with these many and types of errors my boss would have my head. God bless

Hello my friend, you should switch to Firefox, you know? :P The current Firefox browser (downloadable at ) has an in-built spelling checker. Personally, I ran through a check on spelling and grammar - as much as time allows). The spelling checker will help to highlight any glaring errors and is pretty useful. =)

When I was using Internet Explorer I would always make sure my spellings were correct before submitting my posts. But now that I am using Firefox, it is so much easier because it has the spell check feature. But I still check myself every once in a while anyway just for the heck of it.

I used to check and edit religiously. But I got so sick of reading the bad spelling and grammer of others, in spite of my setting what I thought was a good example, that I don't bother so much any more.

I try to check over my replies and discussions to make sure everything is spelled right. There are times though I think we all make mistakes some where. I feel really stupid after I have responded to a discussion and see how many words I messed up.

I use Firefox extension spell checker and he underline me words I spell wrong. It is hard for me because my mothers language is not English. Sometime I spell words write, but use wrong words and everyone misunderstood me.

Yes I do check the spellings and why not since it automatically shows wrong spellings while typing. It is better to type correctly. I get a red line under the words if i spelled wrongly. I think that facility is by mylot or not?

No I don't. I think it would just take so much time, when we would put it to the spell check. It would be better if spell check will be already here on mylot.

bot really cause many my lotters are always busy posting as many reponses they can ..and the spell facility will be cool ... Regards Harry

Hi,there! It seems we're somehow the same. I also check my spellings sometimes but not always. Then when I saw the thing that I post sometimes,I can see the spelling mistake,though just a little bit,I still feel not that perfect.So maybe I'll watch out in the future so that I can be more accurate.Hopefully you'll do better too:)

ive only bee here for a few days but i think half the posts ive made have had errors,,i try to check but some get passed me.. i would love for them to have the spell check.lol i was just thinking about that this morning

first of all i dnt make mistakes, secondly i hav inbuild spell checker, so no problem with that, everybody shud learn typing to avoid mistake, it a good practice,

I think human error is a unvoidable and it can happen at any instant.But up to some extend we can prevent it.In mylot i made spelling mistakes so many times.Now you also made a mistake in posting this discussion.It is very funny to read mistakes made by other members.I dont care much about spelling and gramer mistake.I know that,my english is not good.Main reason i am here is to improve my english.After joining here,i improved my english a lot.

If I am unsure of the spelling of a word, I'll look it up in dictionary.com, or else if I have Word or similar program open, I'll use the spell checker there. When I am finished, I may do a quick skim-over, but sometimes silly mistakes pass me by if I'm in a hurry when I wrote it.

Good evening subha. I used to check my spellings quite often, but I still made some spelling mistakes. Now I seldom check it as I can type faster than before without having to look at the keypboard so often but the screen. I am glad that mylot is helping me to raise my typing skill and speed though I could still make some spelling mistakes. Yes, I think that it could be better if mylot could offer some words-checking-spelling column, it would be greater and we would avoid making spelling mistakes.

i don't offten check my spelling,especially a long paragraph.but if i am not sure to spell a word crectlly,i would confirn through Kingsoft or on line. i think your advice is very useful, we should pay attention to our spellings,to make others understand us easily.right ? and do you agree with me ?
