Hi there. I think I'm pretty much in the same boat as you my friend. I mean, I'm pretty "curvy", but I would like to gain a few extra pounds and it may sound crazy, but it is hard! I've weighed 112 for a long time and when I went vegetarian I dropped to 104. It's weird how much of an impact meat has on your diet. The thing you need most for gaining muscle is protein. You need a lot of protein intake. Since you're vegetarian, not vegan, right? You can drink milk, which has a significant amount of protein in it, and cheese. Nuts have a lot of protein, beans. Etc. Eat a lot, but eat healthy. Don't binge on chips and cookies. Eat a lot of fruits, vegetables, rice, wheat, etc. Exercise is probably a big thing you should focus on as well. I wouldn't run, running burns a lot of calories and fat, I would just walk, probably for about 30-60 minutes a day and work on muscle growth for another 30-60 minutes a day so you'll gain muscle rather than fat.
Good luck!! :)

MUKUL_6907, I have some suggestions for you.
Going to the gym is the best way but you need to consume more high nutrition food.
I used to consume optimum whey protein, it'll gain your weight faster, all you have to do is go to the gym on regural basis if you don't want to get bulky.
Spend your time to do weight training, other supplement that could gain your muscle mass is creatine, I saw on the label, it'll increase your muscle mass about 1.5 pounds in 5 weeks.
Also eat more white egg, not the yellow part to reduce consume too much cholesterol.
Change your carb source with more baked/steam potato, wheat is also ok.
Do not consume too much fried food, you'll gain in weight but also in your stomach diameter :)
Consume red meat will also make you fat faster than the white meat like chicken, fish, but white meat is more healthy I think.
Try to spend at least 30 minutes to run, It'll balance your digest system and keep you fit.
I used to do sit-up 200 times everyday, I'm not sixpacks yet, only 4 packs for now on.
What I'm trying to do is, I'm not pushing myself to be that kind, just take your time and enjoy your life.

Increase belly is a rebarbative thing. How about running or swimming every day?You should try to bicycle. If you keep at it you should succeed.
