BeiJing is the capital of China .It has a history of over three thousand years .It is famous of its places of historic interest in the world .BeiJing has changed a lot during the past 20 years , and it has become a big modem city now .People in BeiJing love sports and take part in sports actively .BeiJing is able to hold the 2008 Olympic Games .The 2008 Olympic Games in BeiJing will be held successfully .

I surely wish that it would be held successfully in Beijing, since nothing less could be expected.
Beijing, to be sure, is a place worthy and capable to host the Olympics and its historic significance as well as its modernization, as you've said, I believe, only add to its credibility as a host.
My only hope, though, is that there will be absolutely no security threats or breaches because such would certainly destroy the peacefully competitive atmosphere of the Olympics, and could even potentially be fatally damaging to the city, its inhabitants, and all the Olympic delegates.
To the Beijing organizers and all the Olympic participants, may good luck always be with all of you!
