In our country there is no divorce but there is annulment and separation. I am not sold with the idea of divorcing. Marriage is a commitment and you love a person because you love him/her. Divorce is not the solution for the differences, talking and discussing the problems can be done to avoid divorce.

First of all, marriage itself is a sacred affair, conducted with sanctum sanctorium and it is preserved with great dedication. Be it arranged marriage,be it love marriage, beit arranged-love marriage, all these are done in the presence of elders of the family, friends and relatives and people who talk about divorce should have valid reason. Generally it does not happen. If it happens it will have a valid reason and consent is given. In courts too, there are not many cases. Thanks to the enthusiasm of lawyers who want to break the family to increase their earnings, otherwise the whole affair is looked down as a social evil.
In fact I am too against divorce. Off late, the economic independence gained by women and also the western influence on men leading to many divorce cases.
In our family tradition of 50 years and having seen 300 marriages, there is not a single divorce - I vouch for the statement.
