What is the fastest speed you had on a freeway?

The fastest I had was 100mph or 160kpm, on a freeway, but it was 2:00 in the morning and there were very few vehicles around. During daytime, I just try not to pass the speed limit of 100kph, but sometimes I go over it. Luckily, I don't have any record yet on speed violation. Studies showed that driving at a constant speed of 80kph is the efficient and economic way of using your gas.

Wow! 160kpm on a freeway! I have never tried this speed before. It must be really thrilling and other than that you still have to watch out if there is any traffic police around. The speed limit in Malaysia is 110 kph and if anyone is to be found to exceed the limited speed he will be fined RM300 ($100us = RM350). I do quite often drive with the fastest speed of 130kpm unconsciously during nighttime while I am quite absorbed in chatting with someone beside. Yeah, I do learn that driving at a constant speed of 60kph to 80kph is the most efficient and economic way to save the gasoline.

The maximum limit here in the Philippines is 100kph, there are radars in conspicous places in the freeway, if you were caught exceeding the maximum limit a traffic enforcer will be waiting for you at the exit. However, most of the drivers know the location of these radars, such that when they're on the radar's range they slow down and speed up again when out of the radar's range. Thanks for the reply, have a nice day.
