Do you think abortion is okay? In certain cases?

I'm 100 per cent completely pro-choice. The only person qualified to decide whether a woman is prepared to go through pregnancy, with it's side effects and risks (which count in the hundreds and have a higher fatality rate than abortion) is the one who'll have to live with the consequences.

I should also add in reference to the OP that the highest percentage of women seeking abortions reported being in long term, monogomous relationships, so the stereotype about sleeping around can be effectively tossed out .... as well as the stereotype about not using contraceptives. The statistics show that the majority of women seeking abortions were using at least one form of birth control at the time they conceived.

me, honestly myself I could never have an abortion. But I am pro-choice. WHat a woman does with her body is her decision. No one has no right to tell a woman if she should or shouldn;t be able to have an abortion. I do think that the amount of time a woman can have one is rather high though. I woman can get an abortion up to 24 weeks pregnant. Which means a woman can get an abortion up to 6 months of pregnancy. I do think the timing should be lowered. If a woman walks around pregnant that long than she should have to have the baby

It should be the woman's choice and not the lawmakers choice (who are mostly men) as to whether or not you have an abortion. There are many cases that abortion is called for , one in rape cases, two if there if found to be a defect in the baby that is very grave, three in cases where a woman does not want any more children and has not been able to be sterilized (tubes tied( .
Humans are not endangered and are in fact so overcrowded that we are in danger of over using the natural resources that the Earth has. So we want (or need) every baby to be born and each of them to use more resources that will take away from the Earth?
I say that for those of you who are pro life , are you willing to take in all of the unwanted babies and provide fro them? Or are you just all talk? Do we need more children that have no homes that live in the streets? With more people in the world there is going to be more buildings put up and less land to plant food crops that feed all of us. How many people are going to have to die from starvation before we wise up and figure out that we need to do something?

i think that everything happens for a reason. if you're pregnant give the baby a chance to live, if you don't want it give it up for adoption...don't be a murderer. i can't trust ppl who do abortions because if they'll kill their own kid what the f*ck will they do to me???

It's okay as long as the woman in question thinks it's okay. She doesn't have to listen to outside sources telling her it's murder. Wake up people....it's not. If the woman wants an abortion, fine. If she doesn't, fine. But stay out of her uterus. Mind your own. If you don't like abortion the plan is simple: don't get one.

Everyone has different opinions about abortion. I don't beleive that abortion is okay. i definitely think they shouldn't change the law, becauase then women lose a right but I am pro-life. They say when the baby is being killed through abortion that ultrasound showed that the baby actually pulls away from the needle but it has no choice. I think that is so sad. And I am Catholic. Catholics should be pro-life.

The video you are referring to is pro-life propoganda, not factual evidence. The fetus does NOT pull away from any needle during abortion. I don't have a problem with someone having a pro-life position, but I do have a problem with ignorance about the issue being the basis for a position. Please check the facts from an objective NON BIASED source before making up your mind on important issues like this.

Plers often talk about the embryo 'moving' away from the tools used in an abortion as if that proves life and/or awareness. In reality that the pregnancy 'moves' is simply a matter of physics not life nor sentience. A pregnancy in the first trimester grows from being microscopic to being roughly the size of an apple, it's floating in fluids- if any thing disturbs the environment the zygote/embryo is going to move. Pregnancies that have ended naturally through miscarriage but fail to expel, will "move" during a D&C, molar pregnancies 'move' during removals.

Abortion is murder plain and simple. It is a human life and no one has the right to kill the unborn child.

I can not believe I am saying this for the 100th time.
Murder is the legal term that refers to the unlawful killing of another person.
Abortions are legal.
Someone please explain to me why all of these people are claiming that abortions are murder, when that is so far from the truth. How can something automatically be murder when the said thing has been legal for years? I don't get it. Why are people throwing terms like 'murder' around, when they are not even using it correctly. Just because you are killing something or someone does mean mean it is murder. Do I need to go over self defense? People need to learn that not every time you kill someone, that it means you murdered them.
The moral?
Do not throw terms around. It just makes you look stupid.

No, it is not okey and whatever form of it is also a crime. Abortion is an absolutely wrong and it is a crime of murder. And absolutely I am not favor for this. And I think the fetus have life and like us she/he have a right to see this wonderful world.
