which do you prefer?...desktop computer or laptop computer

desktop computer -you pay better price for hardware while in laptop it much more than laptop..

I prefer a Laptop, first of all it gives the privacy that we need at times , while using a desktop pc i feel unconfortable , ya its true , i am not able to do things that i wanna do , And i think that a laptop can solve all of these problems . Now a days laptops are much cheaper !!

well you can see both of them has their pros and cons. if you want a mobiel computer then there is nothing which can replace a laptop but if you are more a stable user and want a performance oriented computer then desotp is the choice but i personally feel that dektops use to be comfortable. but now a days even latops are designed so that they are very compforable. i have a ltop and i never feel uncomfortable

Depends on what you need to do... A Desktop PC is better than a LapTop from every point of view, exept for the dimension...you can bring a laptop in your bag anywhere.

depends on your requirement you decide the type computer. Desktop computers are non-movable frequently. But the laptop computers are very easy to movable. because it is less weight.

After 2 or 3 years, the computer is obsolete. I upgraded my notebook...added memory. I am happy with it after almost 2 1/2 years. Next year maybe, a new one, of course by then the warranty will be out. I use my notebook 10 times as much as would a desktop. I will never go back to a desktop again

I like to have a laptop but it will be much more expensive. And therefore, perhaps desktop computer is better. You can have a lower price to have a better desktop computer. If you want to change the hardware one day, the cost will be also lower.

yup you're right, laptop is very mobile, that's why I prefer using a laptop than desktop. Can use it anywhere I like ^___^

I prefer desktop computers. I find them more suitable for home use as we can watch the movies etc. with them and we can play games. Of course it is important that they can be easily upgraded, just like you said. On the other hand laptops are good for business/school purposes. I can take one to college and then show my project without thinking too much if it compile on the OS or not:P But most of them are to weak to run better games and watching tv shows on them is a pain:/

In this fast paced world, I feel that mobility is more important than upgrading option. If you get a laptop with latest features, you wont feel that. It is because in the recent advancement the present day technology will become outdated in the one or two years period, especially concerning computer technology. So, it is better to go for a laptop. You get a wireless connectivity and you will be able to stay in touch with most of your friends online and it helps you a lot.

not only that the advantage of desktop computer I think, the main advantage is the price, desktop computer can save up to one third of the laptop price at the same level power and configuration, but using laptop you got the most advantage of mobility, this should be consider with your usage of habbits. Right now I'm also using a desktop computer, since I don't need a mobile computing a lot.

I perfer desktop . I just dont like the more easy to break thing someone can trip and down it goes .
