I am an 18 year old Indian, and I grew up around Indians all my life. I live in New Jersey, which is full of Indians. And I live in a neighborhood which is full of Indians. There's nothing wrong with Indians, it's just the way that white people portray us. They make us seem like Apu from the Simpsons, who works at a Quikimart and speaks in a rediculous Indian accent that people think is a very good Indian accent. I resent the idea that some white guy can replicate an Indian accent as well as an Indian can. The Indians that can't replicate the accent belong to a group we more commonly know as the coconuts, brown on the outside and white on the inside. I lived around Indians my entire life and one day this white guy just told me "You're Indian accent sucks." That's not the kind of instance where you tell a person to go screw themselves. If they're that ignorant then it's okay but for those people that know better, it becomes a problem.

I grew up around Indians my entire life for God's sake. Just today, this Indian girl that lives across the street came down to my house and was complaining to my mom about not getting back a three dollar rebate. A THREE DOLLAR REBATE. Indians are the cheapest people alive. It's not like the Jewish kind of cheap either. Jewish people and most other colored people don't unnecessarily spend money but Indians are on a completely different level. I remember last winter, winters in Jersey are freezing by the way, my mom would put on our heat downstairs during the day and because she said that heat rises so we wouldn't need heat at night. I remember every day of winter break, I froze my balls off.
