Who Helps you to beautify your home????

My hubby and I did some shopping today.and yesterday.. We bought few things to beautify the living roon and we make a good team up when it comes to fashion and taste..
How about you guys..who is your partner when it comes to beautifying your home??

I like to decorate it by myself, becuase my hubby has not really interest in it. and even if I will do something he will not even seen it.:( He will pick up maybe color for couch and table, so like big pieces of furniture, but not small things like lamp or plans or something on the table.I have to pick this up by myself, i mean it doesn't bother me, since I like to do it, but when he didn't even see it , it makes me sad. :(

Dont Feel sad Laurika. If your hubby cannot see the things you do to beautify your home..Others will give an appreciation. You guys dont really sya their appreciation sometimes hard for them to say it sometimes. But im know youre hubby is impressed he just couldnt say to you,

Actually there are three that beautify my home. Me, myself and I. Just kidding. Most of my furniture comes from friends. I make my own curtains and even recovered a few of the items I got from friends. I have a few rag rugs laying around that I also made. Oh and I made the pillows for the couch too. I love my little home and I'm very proud when someone ask about something I made and I can say "I made it."

When my son was in his middle school he was the one who helped me a lot to beautify our home. Since after my son had left for his university study my husband is the one who helps me in the renovation of household works. He is a retiree so he could spend more time to help me on this matter. Anyhow it is a good activity for him so as to make himself occupied all the time.

since im living with my younger sister, she is the one that always beautifying our apartment =) ... im an industrial engineer, and she is a graphic designer, so in a matter of esthetic things, i trust her 100%, i will only become the 'handy man' when she needs some man's job =) ...

Thats a cool partnership then .You both do things artistically i assume.. And I know she have a good taste when it comes to beautifying the environment your living right now. Thats a good team up to ..you get along with your sister real good.

Most often it is just me that does that. When my husband was here, he did say whether he preferred a different piece of wall art, or if he preferred a different piece of furniture, but now, he is not here so I have to make those decisions on my own for now. Sometimes I do ask my daughter for her advice though.

Correct me if im wrong Madame , you mentioned that your hubby is in Iraq, Well there you go Saudi have the finest ornaments that can beautify your homes, With beautiful rugs and gold brushed ornaments you can see from there.
Maybe you can ask your luvvy hubby to bring you some when the time he gets back.

I always do such things by myself.But my living room always too dirty,because i am too lazy.HEHE
