Karaoke? videoke? ballroom dancing? disco? drinking? play card? or just watch tv?
Hey guys, i'm going to a seminar tomorrow until Friday and i would be absent here for two days. It's kinda exciting because i haven't been to a seminar nor training for months and all i can think of is how we will unwind on Thursday night! LOL and maybe even on Friday night. ^__^;; what we usually do, we the younger generation ^__^, is sing in videoke while drinking or go to disco. hehe.. the oldies would usually go ballroom dancing and some would play card.
how about you?
see yah all after 2 days! ^__^

Hello dear secret bear. I hope that you enjoyed your seminar and all of the social activities you went to last time when you were at the seminar.
I love to have videoke or karaoke than all the other forms of social activities in between seminar or training though I have not had such a chance yet in between either a seminar or training day. I am so sorry for the belated response to this discussion of yours.

hi william! better late than never.
its really good to sing and have fun after a hard day's work in a seminar. belting it out while dancing can release a good amount of stress, at least for me.
thanks for the response william!

We normally would go to the Karaoke room and have some drink there as well.

What I do to relax is watch a action packed movie.Or maybe a suspense film. That always relaxes me.

watching movie is a kind of relaxation fr me too. but I usually do it at home during weekends. when I'm in a seminar, I only do it when there's no night activities and if there's a cable tv in the hotel. ^__^

I would do all of those that you mentioned since its not always that one gets to go out. I love videoke and dancing and even drinking once in a while at the same time bonding with friends. It's a great way too to make some new friends who we may happen to meet during the seminars and what a great way to bond by singing and dancing the night away!

haha.. I love what you said! ^__^ yeah, we only get to really have fun once in a while so we have to make the most out of it. and yeah, its a great way to bond with old and new friends. all of us know each other, but some we know just by their face or name so it was a really good way to finally met everyone formally. ^__^

OI you, lol. Can we have a little respect for the older generation, please? Hehe. My fav thing to unwind whether on a seminar, training or between work is to hit a night on town and have some fun. If we happen to pop into a karaoke I would definitely have a go prob at Tom Jones: Dear Lila, Creedence Clearwater Revival: Proud Mary or living Years with Mike and Mechanics. I do not know what videoke is but it sounds fun, so I would probably have a go at that too. :)

LOL sorry for that. hehe... it's my observation with many old women here. I guess I should've said for old women. ^__^;; the older generation here likes videoke and drinking. videoke is like karaoke, except that while the lyrics are shown in a tv monitor, there's also a video being showed. ^__^

that's good for seminars within the city with complete accomodation like a hotel room with tv. ^__^;; our seminar was held in a sort of remote place, but we had tv, only the malls and bars are kilometers away.

Hi secretbear! If your seminar is in the city, why not go for bar hopping.

hi seagoddess! ^__^
the seminar wasn't held in the city. it's far from the city and it's kindof a little rural. ^__^;; because it was a technical training center with lots of fishponds, aquaria and everything! ^__^
so what we did was videoke, play games, drink, had fun... but we were able to go in a local beerhouse. LOL
