That's funny and very interesting. Some of them are really ridiculous. Anyway, thanks for sharing and making me laugh.
"A pregnant woman can legally relieve herself anywhere she wants, including in a policeman's helmet." - What are they thinking of?

Hi laurentyu1.Well isnt this funny, haha. Its a bit too crazy for me and i do not understand where these laws and who made them came around.I think its probably someone who had nothing else to do with their time and decided to spend it on making some silly laws up.

I read that on Yahoo News today too! How funny! But this country has now silly laws too - they were put there back in the 1800's when the town settled and at the time, they were pertinant, but now they are just useless and silly, but they don't take them off. We lived here in town in California 15 years ago and my son's school had a science project of raising ducks from eggs. Well as soon as the duck'sn eeded a home, the teacher asked who wanted them and my son raised his hand! No "let's talk to parents first" or anything. So I had a new child. Fun to have and that duck knew he was loved, but this grippy old neighbor who did nothing but cause trouble for all neighbors, file with city council to make us remove the duck - based on a law 50 years ago, still on the books that you can't have farm animals in the city limits. We got petitions from the neightbors who said they didn't care if we had the duck, vet said the duck was well cared for, went to appeal at City Council, no dice. This town had nothing better to do with their time than to reailroad a little duck out of town and break 2 little kids hearts. There were several write ups about it in the paper, cause a real stink amongst some but in the end we had to find a home for the duck. All over a stupid law from years ago. Dogs are farm animals, but they are allowed. I said that to the city council, and they all hung their heads, but it didn't help. Some laws work, some don't I guess!

OMG, I thought it was only the US that had some crazy outdated laws. I wonder if a pregnant woman ever did relieve herself in a policeman's helmet. There are a couple arrogant cops here that I'd love to see that happen too...lol! I'm not anti-cop at all, but I'm sure we've all known of a few bad apples who could use a little cutting down to size. Thanks for sharing these!

Hello dear laurentyul. It is interesting to know the information of the British laws. I read your discussion with great interest and cannot help smiling. I wonder how come the laws are so made by the law-makers. By the way, long time no see you. How are you doing, my dear friend? Take care.

I've heard a few of these before, they seem crazy don't they? I can't believe these laws are still in existence. I wonder if anyone actually still bides by them. I don't know what i'd say if someone knocked on my door and asked to use the toilet! Or if i was walking along and i saw a lady doing her stuff in a policeman's helmet!
