How many of you actually know who referred you?

If you were referred by someone, do you remember who they are? Are they still active?
I know where I saw the referral link but I didn't pay attention to who it was. It wasn't until later that I found out the significance of the name in the link and by then I couldn't find the link anymore. I am curious about who she is and if she's still here...for all I know we're friends on here and she just never thought to mention it.
How about the rest of you? Do you talk to your referrers and/or referrals?

I do know who referred me but, I don't remember what her referral link was so, I have no idea how to find her here on mylot. I know she has never written me a "Thank you for Joining" message, which is what I do for my referrals.

IF I had referrals I would do that too, It just seems like the right thing to do in my opinion. I never got anything like that from mine either.

Well, I only have 2 referrals (one active) and I sent a welcome and thank you note to both of them. I also check daily to see if they started a discussion and I reply to it and rate it.

I wasn't referred to mylot, but I have a referral who is not active at all as in, didn't even post one little thing...

I've never understood that...why do people take the time to reguster here and then not bother posting one single thing? I mean at least put in one day's worth of posting.

I have no idea, she even e-mailed me that she signed up and for us to meet here sometime. I even contact ehr twice about getting on here and start some discussions, but no reply back..
She also gave me a link to sign up for a video site, but I told her I don't have a video to do that and actually, I wouldn't want to have a friend network with video, so maybe she got mad over that..
Anyway, that seems to be how all my referrals are, they either don't or can't start or just not active...

Yes I do and yes she is still here, well when she is not managing her other sites. I know most of my referrals, they are friends from the other site. I have 1 referral I am not sure about, but they signed up and have never been back.

With as easy as this site is to navigate yes you would think it would be fairly easy for them to at least post a couple of responses. I think a lot of people are just looking for a quick buck and then when they realize they have to at least put a little effort into it, they change their minds

But that's just it...when people don't even attempt to post, how would they even know how fast or slow they would make money? It's their loss though and people like that probably wouldn't have been "good mylotters" anyway. We'll just keep the site to those of us who actually want to try :)

That is really great! You know how to handle the "tree" properly.
I never understood why people sign up and then leave without even trying it out. Would it really be that bad to put in a day's effort at least just to see how it works?

I wasn't referred to mylot by anyone. I stumbled across it while looking at ways to earn money online. I hope you find that person that referred you :)

I have no idea who referred me. I think I just stumbled upon mylot actually. When you are referred does that mean that you start out with a friend? Because I did not have any friends when I first started on mylot. I just got some after I started posting a lot and responding to discussions.

I don't honestly remember. It does seem like I got my first friend pretty quick and someone else responded that the referrer is your first friend so I guess it's a possibility...and if that is true then it makes sense that you didn't get friends right away since you weren't referred.

Your welcome! There is some pride in knowing that all of your earnings are a result of your own work rather than referrals. It would be a nice little boost though to have referrals earning a little extra too though.

Same thing happened with me buddy. I also didnt noticed it before that from whom I was refered. I didnt even knew that whats this referal system before!
And by the time I came to know about this, I couldnt find the person from whom I came here. Even I dont know wether he/she is still here or he/she has left out.

No I wasnt referred to mylot. I found this site on my own. It was a mistake that I found it. I was looking for another site. Ive been here ever since.LOL
