Does it really help anyone when you click on the "+" sign for their reply?

I rate everyone that replies to my discussions with a "+". I've even had a couple of people request that I do so when they reply to my discussion. I also rate all of the discussions I read (weather I reply or not) with a "+". Does this help anyone earn more?

It really helps the user who gets positive response for one's responses or discussions.Infact it helps the Mylot people to better understand one's quality and also indeed help the user to get more earnings so i think if you really like some responses you must mark it as positive because it is a recoginiton for ome's good work that needs to be rewarded

Thank you for your response. I think that I will continue to give the "+" to everyone who replies to my discussions because after all, they did read it and bother to respond in the first place. I think some people that leave short responses may do that because they don't speak english as well. At least I try to think that. I try and give everyone the benifit of the doubt.

I am not sure whether giving a + rating would increase someone's earning or not. I don't think so. However, what I know that rating would do is affect the color of your star. if you get lots of + then your star will go to 10 or remain at 10. Otherwise, it will drop.

Bisquick is baking mix. There are usually instructions on the back of the box for biscuits, pancakes, waffles etc. It's like flour with all of the other stuff already in it so that all you really have to do is add water or milk to make biscuits.

Yes it helps the person on mylot with 100 and above posts. If a discussion or response impressed or satisfied you, then you can mark it positive. This causes to increase the number written in star of a participant on mylot, it does not increase the earning, but it increase the symbol of standard writing and impressive discussion. Hope that I convinced you and deserve for rate me positive. Thanking you in anticipation.

Although I have absolutely no idea if it helps earnings, I do know that it helps our ratings and many people treasure the plus marks you give them because they like to advance through the different colors of stars to the "best" color. I see that the very next time you post you will get your very first star, too, so I will watch to see what one you start out with! Thanks for being such a conscientious fellow myLot member.

I dunno if i am right, but as far as i know when we are giving a "+" to someone's topic or replies, we help that particular person get a good rate. So as much as possible I give it to those topics and replies as a form of not only rating but appreciation for the effort and substance of the toic and replies.
