iPod Quirks... does your 3rd Generation have them?

I have had my video iPod for over two years now, and I haven't really had many problems with it. I've had more issues with my iTunes library compared to anything, but that's another issue all together. Every now and then my iPod decides to freeze and it won't do anything (the backlight on the screen won't even turn off) until the battery dies completely. Once that happens, I can charge it for a while and it works as good as new. Has anyone else had that issue? It's really an inconvenient problem to have, especially when you have a day of traveling ahead of you, but I don't think it's worth trading my in for a new model. What do you think?
