What is life without purpose?

This is a question that I have asked myself many times. The only answer that makes sense to me is that if you do not have a purpose in life but chances are you would be living most of your days wondering where you're going and not knowing exactly where you might end up. The bottom line is that life has to have a purpose in order for us to have a happy future rather than a dark one without purpose. You will often find that life without purpose leads to nothing but heart ache and pain and believe me, there is plenty of that going on in the world today.
