Bobby Kelly Please Stand Up!

This name gives me the creeps....lol Actually hes a board member of the county clerks office where I live.
He looks like a nice guy, but just hearing the name makes me think of a slimy, slightly over weight, middle aged, greasy car sales men with a toupee. Possibly a backside covered in hair.
lol I dont know why I think this way about the name, when I read it in the paper this morning, that was my first thought. Did I make my coffee too strong?? haha
Heard any names that you didnt like and instantly think you have the person pegged only to see you were way off? Or am I the only one who has done this? LOL Maybe not in this manner, but for any reason. Do you associate a certain look just from hearing someones name?

Actually, I've had the opposite happen, where I saw or heard a name that sounded like it would be the name of somebody really interesting, only to find that they were not, and in some cases were down right AWFUL!

LOL Well in my case I think I made the assumption worse than he really is.
You know what else it is, I think I associate it with Taladega Nights, that movie with Will Ferrel....that was just too funny. He had a crazy name, Ricky Bobby! LOL Oh that movie was just hilarious. He said it all the time too.
I dont know, seems redneck-ish. LOL

I never saw Taladega Nights, I only started liking Will Ferrell when I saw Stranger Than Fiction.
And I think the 2 first name thing is a red-neck thing. I have to say though, I really like Billy Bob Thornton. In fact his name is one of those names that I couldn't think of at first that when I first heard it I thought "Oh god, what a jerk he probably is"! I watched Pushing Tin because I like John Cusack, and immediately fell in love with Billy Bob!!! Just goes to show...

I like Billy Bob too! He does grow on you. We love watching Bad Santa...hes in it. Its hilarious! Well to us it was, its kind of crude, but its Billy Bob! lol
I liked Pushing Tin, and the other one they did together was that Ice Harvest. I liked that one too. It was pretty commical in a dark way.

Yeah I do the same thing. If someone is telling me about some friends I don't know I would always imagine them in my fantasy. And then i have oportunity to meet them and I am surpriced they look totally different. :) If I read this name Bobby Kelly, I magine the guy with a nice body and cow-boy boots and hat.I don't know why, but this name sounds to me like he is some kidna a cowboy. hehe, you see how we are different?

I dont know what it is about this name, it just doesnt set well with me! LOL You see it was bothering me enough that I started a stupid discussion on it.
Yeah everyone is different. I hope more people comment on what they imagine when they hear the name Bobby Kelly. lol

Hmmmm,when i think of the name Bobby Kelly, i think of a young dude that probably got the position because of family or friends he knew. I think of middle aged guy that has no clue...but who knows like i said in my comment below? Good discussion topic :)

LOL Most times yes. He might be, Ill never know. I just seen his name and picture in the paper this morning.
Hey did you hear about those people from Maschouta? Their daughter got suspended for hugging her friends goodbye. Coulter is their last name I think.
