THANK YOU! I am so glad to have this address because I would love to send my thanks and good wishes to them. I just wish I had a list of names. I would like to personalize it as much as possible. But hopefully this will bring them some comfort. If you get anymore information on how to send Christmas cards to hurt or soldiers overseas, please let me know. : ) Thanks again Jill!

I have sent over 300 hand stamped cards to the main commisary in aftghanistan.....but those are for the troops to use. I was looking for a place at Walter Reed to send cards for them to use too but to no avail...if you do stumble upon an address of some organization connected with Walter Reed would you let me know? I will be sending Christmas greetings to them there but would like to donate some for them to use too.

Federal health care privacy issues prevent names from being released but you can put a special note inside the card that says something to the effect of even though I don't know your name, you are in my thoughts and prayers this Christmas season and I thank you for your service to our country and to me for protecting our freedoms. Hope this helps.

I've had this address for years and always send cards for different occasions to the wounded troops at Walter Reed Hospital. There are actually a lot of them who have no family. Thanks for posting this for all to see.

If you know of some orginization that accepts cards for them to use will you let me know. I want to donate some for them to use at the hospital. I have looked all over the internet trying to find someplace or somebody that will distribute them to the wounded for their personal use to stay connected with their families.

Yes they do and it takes so little effort to show them that we care. Thanks for posting.
