Does anyone like real hardcore here?

Hardcore. So far on this site all i have seen is a bunch of metalcore and other various misinterpretations of hardcore.
So....does anyone like it? Thats my main intrest ..music And this site is gonna be hard for me to find intrestin if i cant find anyone who likes similar tunes.

I gather we are talking music here and not the other definition!
So educate me - what makes music hardcore? And why is there this desire to sub-divide music into ever more obscure genre?

haha. Well see most people start listening to stuff like...underoath, emery, saosin, etc etc...just stuff like that. Anyways....they think that those bands are hardcore bands when they are not. Hardcore is a sub-genre of punk that poped up in the early 80's With bands such as minor threat, SSD, poison idea, void, youth brigade, bad brains, descendents..and so on. Its kind of hard to explain music genres...you just have to listen to them and know what hey sound like. And with the last question, idk thats jsut how it is....people sub-divide msuci into genres all the time...so i just keep the trend and call it what its called. haha.
