Sponge Candy

Have any of you ever had Sponge Candy? My friend brings it to me from New York and I love it. It is a chocolate coated candy that has a sort of spongy inside but it is sort of crunchy too. It is so good!! I just wondered if anyone here have ever had it?

I think it is an ordinary kind of candy, because I often had it in my childhood. Mow I am not a fan, and it just stays in my memory.

I can't imagine anyone not liking it. I had never heard of it before. I don't think it is a common candy in this area.

i have never had it but i would love to taste. the sad thing is i'm allergic to chocolate and i'm not allowed to eat lots of it. to bad! :p

I can't imagine being alllergic to chocolate. I don't know that I could survive as it is one of my favorites.

I'd share with you but I have eaten all that she gave me. I love it! I had never heard of it until she brought me some.

I have never heard of Sponge Candy, carolscash, but it sounds good. I like candy even though I don't get to eat it often like I used to. What else is in it? I wonder if I'd have to go to New York to find some, LOL.

I am not sure of what the center is exactly. It is good though. I had never heard of it either until she gave me some after her last trip. They bring it home every time they go to visit. I would love to buy some online and I may look for it today.

No I have never had this candt before. In fact I have never heard of them. It does sound like something I would like to try.
