kids say the craziest things sometimes

So I'm sitting in the other room, working on some training material, and I hear my hubby whisper to my son, "Hey, what are you doing?"
Well he was catching him in the act.....OF PICKING HIS NOSE. Well in response my 3 year old son says, "Oh, picking my boogers out my nose."
My hubby laughs because he just said it so matter-of-factly, without hesitation or embarrasment! So then I laugh, because kids are just so honest sometimes, and it's quite funny!
Have your kids ever just said something, that maybe they shouldn't have or shouldn't be taking pride in saying or admitting out loud anyway?

Aww! Cute! lol. I think it's wonderful how kids usually just don't care what other people think, and they have no problem being themselves and doing what they love (like picking their noses ;P) lol.
I don't have kids, but I have 2 nieces. They def. always have A LOT of crazy things to say or do. I would have never known kids their age could think like they do! lol. But I guess it's true.

i know, they're so honest sometimes! i like that they don't try to pretend they are someone else, just to be cool, or fit in...well until they get to school age that is! but it's refreshing when they are toddler age!!

Yeah, school ruins all that! lol. But they gotta do it! Sometimes they can grow out of it though! Which is good.

thats is so cute, my son says some of the funniest things, the other day he said to me mommy I know daddy has been gone a long time, so I will leave you in the room alone to hug and kiss.. I almost fell out of my chair laughing

That's cute! My son is like that sometimes, too. Other times, his immediate answer is "Nuffink!" when we ask him what he is doing.
The other day Elliott was talking to my mom on the phone. She asked him what he was doing and he said, "Scwatchin Twiggy's tummy...and piggin my nose. Twiggy wikes da boogies."
I sat there and watched them after that, and sure enough Trixie did want to eat them as soon as they were on his fingers!

yea i hear the "nuffink" as you so well put it, ALL the time, OH NUFFINK he always says! that's why we were surprised he admitted to this one this time! haha. oh they are a blast!

i don't have any kids yet (not even a bf LOL) but i do have an almost 3-yr old nephew who already talks clearly and what i can remember is his line "wait a minute". he says it very adult-like when he's busy with something and someone would go to him and disturb him. ^__^;; me and my mother always laugh when we hear him speal those words.
and then the last time he and i went to his favorite fastfood "jollibee", we were in line and he was being impatient and all of a sudden he shouted "french fries!". lots of people looked at him but i didn't care and i just laughed. ^__^;;

yup. "wait a minute". i guess he learned it from his parents. i think they always say "wait a minute" to him if he goes to them for something. ^__^;; he's very adorable and cute that sometimes i just wish he wouldn't grow up and stay that way. ^__^
French fries is his favorite that's why it makes him impatient. LOL

that's such a cute story my friend. kids are just too much. lately my son says, "what? you gotta be kidding me?" it's like, where'd you get that from?? haha. so crazy, wait til you have your own, and they sound just like you, hahahaha, too crazy!!

you've gotta be kidding me?? lol he says that?? that's really funny. my nephew is still as witty as ever. especially now that he can really talk as an adult. straight words, straight sentences. he can even sing. its funny coz this morning, he was standing in front of the fridge, his back to the fridge door and he was singing something, beautiful girls i think, while rocking himself left and right. i didn't have any idea why he was doing it! i guess he was bored.

haha that gave me trhe giggles because my son does the same thing and says it too! there have been lots of things which have made my husband and i laugh but i cant remember off hand now - i bet i will when i'm sleeping though LOL thanks for the laugh!

Yes, I am always amazed everytime my kids tells something of which I least expect they can say or should not say at all. Sometimes I burst into laughter if I heard a word or sentence unexpectedly from them. And sometimes I am in awe.

me too, in awe....cuz it's amazing what they DO pick up, and then how they repeat it back! it's great though, but we have to watch ourselves cuz they are just lil sponges, lol!! thank you for responding, you hit it just right!!

I have a 20 year old son, when he was about 1 he loved to say Hi to people and being a cute blonde haired little kid they always said Hi back. Well one time he was sitting in his stroller and a man walked by and Corey said Hi the guy ignored him so Corey said it louder, the guy ignored him so Corey said it even louder. Finally the guy just walked away and as soon as the guy got out of ear shot Corey looks at me and says...jerk. I nearly laughed my head off that surprised me so much first I didn't even know he knew that word and second to put two and two together like that man what a little smarty pants he was. oh man, THAT is funny!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! JERK, hahahahahaha!! oh man, i would have fallen out of my seat, plus he was all, hi, hi, HI.....jerk....hahaha!! that's too much!! smarty pants is right, they absorb so much! haha!
