If you're looking to be hired by a company for a telecommuting position in data entry, searching for online data entry sites is the wrong way to go about it. The sites online don't hire employees. What you need to do is go to job search sites, such as Hot Jobs and Craigslist, and search for data entry jobs using the keyword "telecommute". There's a lot of company's that hire telecommuting workers.

as someone suggested, you can look through the job search sites as mentioned there. there's also odesk, another job search site. i notice a lot of data entry jobs, writing jobs are posted there. you can browse through the site if you want. there's a banner on my profile page, but for odesk, i think you need moneybookers. there are other ways too but those don't work for me. i think cards are accepted too though i can't be too sure. best of luck to you. it's a good site i feel. it has some online tests that you can take to make yourself more skilled or improve yourself.

Hello there, I may be able to help you out here. (I sound like a salesperson, but I'm really not)
I am a freelance writer and I have more work than I can deal with, so if you are good at writing and have a couple of hours spare a day, add me as a friend and send me a message (I'll forget otherwise) and I may be able to push some work your way.
Good luck in whatever you decide to do!
Take Care!
