k first let me clear it out i am talking about people who actually join the site and not those who are not interested. so do you join with the affiliate link given to you-by your friends,or some starngers or any which way or do you just put the name of site minus the affiliate name?? no offense to anyone,i have known and seen my friends do this, they believe that why should others benifit from our working to be very honest ,when i came to all the sites initially i had the same notion ,but when i realized how much effort one puts to promote their sites and to get referrals,-it has changed everything its a crime to not to join using that link and join just like that ,cuz you never realise that firstly--how much effort that person has put in to promote it secondly--it is cuz of him that you came to know about the site again i would repeat no offence to anyone whatsoever what do you think? thnx and tc

I have joined some sites without links. I have also used links send to me by family and friends or even people from mylot or gather.com as well. I think that if someone is using a site and they think it is good it is worth me taking a look. If the site looks interesting and I want to give it a try I like to give the person who told me about it credit. I hope that my friend and people I know on other sites use my links when they sign up for a site that I recommend. I am sure there are tons of people out there who just sign up with out giving any one credit. I do not have many referals but that is ok with me. I joined some sites and then found out they were not for me and just let them go. I am sure the person I signed up under are sorry that I stopped doing the site because they are not making nothing off me. At least I did try the site before I let it go or cancelled it. I think you should always give credit where credit is due. I like to post on discussions of people who post on mine or who check out my associated content articles. I figure that we are all here to help each other. If you are a member of associated content you may want to send me your name on the site and I will gladly look at your articles. If you are not a member you may want to check out the site. associatedcontent.com Good luck.

Well i think I use to be like that a few years back. Until i realised how much money and time people put into a program inorder to make a profit. SOme people also rely on these programs to eat everyday and imo it's wrong not to help them out. I know the excitement I get when i relaise someone is referraled under me.The people who delete the person's referral Id's imo are just jealous and don't want notthing positive to happen to that person. I know I was but I'm better now. Good Topic :0)

I joined this site through the affiliate link which I have found on the blog about money making online. This guy was a stranger to me, but I didn't delete any affiliate from the link and joined as it was, so I guess he will get something for bringing me to this site.

I am a very skeptical person so I do not join many affiliate programs. I may end up missing out on some good ones along the way but that is another discussion... To answer your question. If I receive an affiliate link, I use it. I want the person who told me about the site to get full credit. That is how it should be :) - Mike
