Is it better to be a member of a group than to be the leader of a group?

I prefer to be the member. To be the leader makes me headache.
But when I have enough experiences, I prefer to be the leader and drives the groups into success...

i think to be a leade is more better in a group, as a leader you can lead all your group mambers or you can show to the world what capability on you.
