Ice Skating! I felt like I was flying whenever I'm skating. It'd just wonderful! Too bad because we don't have winter season in our country so skating so it's very expensive.

I love to go sledging but it is not something I do very often. I feel happy when I climb on board and it is exciting when I whiz down a huge softly covered in snow hill. I am hopeless on ice skates because I keep falling down. Ice hockey, therefore, would be too fast for me. The landscape of Switzerland and Austria can look amazing all covered in a frosty white blanket of snow. It is fun to take a chairlift up a mountain. I really enjoy doing this when I go to a ski resort. I haven't tried skiing yet and or snowboarding. Both look quite challenging.

To watch, it would have to be hockey. It's an exciting sport that I enjoy watching because of my favorite NHL team, the San Jose Sharks. Meanwhile, I think that my favorite winter sport to participate in would be snowboarding. That is just so much fun. I haven't been in a while, but I really want to get to go again sometime soon.

Since I can't stand cold weather my answer is what I like to watch, not what I like to do. For me that would be figure skating. It's the most elegant sport there is and what they do is so incredible and they make it look so easy! To those who say it's not a sport I'd say figure skaters are among the best athletes of all.

I used to be absolutely a skating nut for many, many years. Unfortunately now my circulation problems keep me off the ice. I had a huge shallow pond by the house I lived at for many years, and every year when it would freeze over, all the moms in the neighborhood would come down and help clear it off (after the hubbys checked it for ice depth/safety) We taught all the kids how to ice skate, and sometimes we'd stick the speakers from the stereo out the window for some of the more advanced ones to dance. We had an absolute blast. I even had skates in every size available for those who wanted to learn how to skate....geez, how I miss that!! Used to really love tobboganing too at a local tobbogan hill. Will have to get a snowmobile suit so I can take my little grandson, lol.

I like watching ice skating and snow boarding.
I like ice skating too but it's been years since I was able to go.
I also like to sled when I get the chance too.
