I don't really eat either, but when I'm cooking, I use margarine. My friends all think my loathing of butter has something to do with weight issues, but the truth of the matter is that I just can't stand the overly creamy taste, or the all-too-soft texture.

I like butter but I'm allergic to it so I have to use margarine... Nothing tastes better than fresh blueberry muffins with real blueberries and real honest-to-goodness butter! Every so often I give in to the urge, saying forget the allergies!

butter of course! i like butter because it's creamy and also yummy. it taste better with my bread too as opposed to margarine. but sometimes if we don't have butter at home, i use margarine and mix it with a little sugar put it in the oven and toast it. it taste better that way. it's sweeet and crunchy! ^_^

Hello toteles, I prefer to spread butter on my bread rather than margarine. I can't find the real reason why but maybe the taste is a bit nicer for butter rather than margarine.

It depends what i'm in the mood for. My taste changes from time to time, so I switch from butter to margarine and back sometimes.

I prefer the rich, creamy taste of butter. Am not suppose to eat butter and do switch back and forth but my preference is butter.

I get this margerine at Aldi's called "Tastes Like Butter". It spreads like margerine which I like very much. It goes on the bread or rolls very easily. But, the best thing is ...it *really* tastes like butter. I love the taste of butter. Butter is creamy and rich, well so is this. It is only 89 cents for something with less fat and stuff and it tastes like butter.

I don't use either. My favorite bread is made with butter so I don't need to add more to it.

Butter is better. It taste good and it affects my mood as well. When we have butter on the fridge, I think we are abbundant in some sense. I don't get it exactly. It simply means that butter has made me feel nice.

For my decision making support system for this option is the cholesterol level. I am sorry toteles to say this way, none of my intention to preen myself to explain about taking good care about food, because I am not a food nutrition expertise. But after I have been admitted and warded in the hospital for 7 days for my high-cholesterol level, so this kind of ingredient should take first. So I will look at the label ingredient for each product either for butter or margarine. Which labeled product produce less and under permitted cholesterol level, it will be my choice of taking. Happy Posting, toteles. Happy Dappy.

Butter! But I like salted butter and that's not usual here in Italy. Being English I was brought up on bread and salted butter and it's just not the same with unsalted - so I miss it! I can buy salted butter here but it is much more expensive than unsalted so I just give it a miss. I suppose that's best for my purse and for my health though.
