So has anyone else had their rating say one number, for example me today.... when i left to take my test at school it said 1116, and i came home and looked to see my earning for yesterday and my rating was down to 1115....??? anyone had this happen? Do you think its cz someone gave me a - rating? I wrote something to someone and he may not have liked it (it was about him cheating on his fiance on the internet...) Could that have dropped my rating?

I think your rating going down if mylot deleted your response or maybe someone give you - sign. every day my rating goes down.. i dont know why but it's ok. just ignore it.

I have no idea.. it could be the case. I think someone should have a good reason to give a neg rating.. like when those people were posting the same "i don't want to respond" answers.

i agree. from now on, i am gonna give everyone a + rating that responds to my discussions with something that makes sense to the discussion, so if everyone else wants to do the same if they enjoyed the conversation. =)

I feel you should not take such things seriously and keep posting the disucussions and responses. I just do not care for (1) what others do, (2)whether they award me best response or not (3) Whether I earn less or more. I just keep doing and I do not want to waste even 1 minutes. Sometimes, thinking of such silly things, and getting it into our head, it blocks our free flow thoughts. I hope you have understood my point. Just ignore and proceed.

I've wondered about that too. I have seen it fluctuate a little bit here and there, but since it's overall continuing to go up I haven't worried about it. With a rating over 1000 (and approaching 1000 for me!!), it's inevitable that someone won't like something that you write from time to time.

Well I'll give you a +, I hope it makes you feel better. I never give negatives. I usually won't give a response anything unless I think it's a honest response pertaining to the subject. Whether they agree with me or not. As for responses that have nothing to do with the discussion I usually ignore.
