A frozen dessert is being offered in a restaurant in New York City for $25,000.00. It is supposed to contain 24K edible gold, numerous exotic cocoa and truffles. Quite expensive for a dessert, isn't it? http://gabesmom.blog.dada.net/

oh yeah, i have seen it on the news and it is ridiculously expensive. i wonder if what will happen to me when i eat it? i hope something magical happens for what its worth. i wonder where the creator got the 24k edible gold, huh? now, i am craving for a sundae...lol by the way, what will happen to us if we eat edible gold? are the ingredients used available commercially?

The edible gold must be really safe to eat. Could you imagine being sued after serving someone some edible gold? That would mean a 24M lawsuit.

There must be a number of people who don't know what to do with their extra loads of cash. Sometimes, those artistic expressions just get out of hand. It may be commonplace to the super rich but plain ridiculous to the rest of us.

Wow...I couldn't read the article but still I can't ever see me paying that much for a dessert. Imagine how many homeless ppl you could feed for that!! Or how many pets could be rescued with that money. "COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS" **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~

yes, it's very expensive. and it's quite silly. i think the people who would buy it are just wasting their money, because really, their $25,000 could be spent on something more meaningful or more worth it. but then, it's their money, so it's none of my business... :)
