To me it is just a sate of mind. I am 55 and I certainly do not feel old. How old do I feel? Well, to be honest, about 35. What is my secret? A very active Siberian Husky!! Get a husky, get fit!!

I am 27, but... I am old.
I had a great-grandfather who was ninety and was not old. He was more active than I have ever been in my life. His life force was this beautiful overflowing energy that infused everything he touched. I never, ever, considered him old.
I consider myself old, because I am always ill and thus not able to be active. I hurt constantly. My experiences weigh me down with a burden that sometimes seems too large to bear. I am old.

KB, you make me feel young, that's why I'm that way when we speak. That's why I like you. :p
Pyewacket... I already wish I could be as active now as some of the older people I know, let alone wishing I could be as active at their age. Isn't that sad? Actually, I don't honestly expect to live to be as old as your "75 years young" friend, but since I wasn't expected to even live to adulthood, who knows?

I'm 46. I don't feel 46 - it's difficult to put a specific age on how old I feel but not as old as 46 anyway. 46 sounds very "grown-up" lol! In some ways I do think age is just a state of mind BUT I do also think physical health and fitness plays a part in that.
I'm lucky enough to generally be in good health and I always have been. I've really never been ill or incapacitated in any way. However earlier this year I developed a really bad pain in my hip. It turned out it was actually a back problem but I was feeling the pain in my hip. Just one of those things I guess. Anyway it meant I had a lot of trouble walking and I was in pain most of the time. Lasted for about 3 months before it just disappeared. During that time I really felt my age for the first time - in fact I felt about 80 lol! I dont know how people cope with that sort of thing constantly because it really brings you down. Well, it did with me anyway.
So although I think mental attitude is most important I think physical health/ability is probably a factor too.

I'm 24 and how old do i feel... it's the same.. yes i believe is just a state of mind... everyone is different and has its own characteristics on how they feel about their age.

Well, I can think of many people who fit this statement here, but I tend to think I am far from one of them. I am 43, and look to most people like I am in my 30s, I think I act mature enough like someone who is in their 40s. Some days though due to Health issues I definately feel older than this, but try not to let them get to me, or control who I am.

Yes it can be a state of mind! I can be 80 but i can still think and feel like im 30. lolz! Although age is counted by the years of our stay here on earth, it may be the basis of our maturity. So think wisely and maturely, even if it goes way beyond your age! And feel lively, cheerfully and carefree as if you are in your childhood age! =)

Hi kiobug! I am 41 years old and I feel as much as my age. haha.. But I don't feel old. I am happy and contented with my age and I am glad to know that I am growing gracefully through the years. haha..That is how I feel and that is what my husband usually tells me, and I believe him. haha.. I guess, I am not that particular with my age as long as I know I feel beautiful inside and out. haha.. Take care and have a nice day!

I am 49 and before my accident in August, I felt 49 except when my arthritis kicked in, then I felt 60. Since my accident, I feel 70-most of the time. I hope to go back to feeling better soon. Physical therapy is helping some. Take care

Im 27 now and I am a working mommy too, I have a one year and eight months old daughter and another one in my tummy right now. I feel comfortable with my age, with all my achievements in life right now., I can say that I feel better as my age gets bigger every year. :)

I guess age wise I'm a demented nine year old...LOL. I've always have had a "young" viewpoint and am still that Woodstock Hippie at heart. One part of me is actually so dismally serious, but I do have my lighter side and never have lost my childlike sense of awe and wonder and I guess that is what keeps me young. Most people never guess I'm as old as I am and say I could pass for my 30s....I'll be 52 on November 19th--I do have to admit there are days though that I feel like a 152 cause I sure do feel the aches and pains more. LOL

I'm 43 years old however I don't feel that age but rather a much younger person but with having lupus, my body tells me I'm older than 43. So I think it really depends on the person and their state of mind.

Well, I am 19 and feel that one should not worry about his/her age wether he/she is 18 or 60.
We sould enjoy each and every second of our life without thinking about our age. Wether you are a teenager, mother, father, grandmother or grandfather, enjoy life to its maximum rather wasting your time in calculating how many days you have spent on this Earth and how many days are left for you to live here!
I know am very young to answer this question, but I feel I that one should avoid worrying about his/her age.....
