My Son Nathan

Awww--your son Nathan is a great looking guy..hey...Is he married...does he like older women??..LOL...KIDDING..Mmm doesn't come around much..is he shy or something or just not into family things??

It was very nice to see a picture of him. Thanks for sharing that with us. I think a lot of kids go through a phase where they don't really hang much with the family. My son is 22 and I usually only see him if I go to his house. But luckily he only lives about 5 minutes away from me. He doesn't drive so I can understand why he doesn't come over. He was calling me all the time but he stopped, unless he wants me to look something up on the computer for him.

I don't recall seeing a photo of your boy, thanks for sharing. Maybe one day I'll figure out how to post with a discussion. I have no problem getting my car and dog picture under "My photos" but come time to post a discussion, OH LORD grant me patience But Hurry. hehehe Thank You for sharing. :-)

Hi Grandpa Bob, I love the name Nathan ... when I was pregnant with my daughter and unsure if it was a boy or girl my back up name if it was a boy was going to be Nathan (the only difference was the spelling, I would have spelled it Nathen.)Holy man is her ever tall lol. Thanks for sharing a part of your family with us. Your son is a good looking guy! I am sorry that he doesn't have much to do with the family other than for the reasons you have listed. That is sad. He is still young and probably hasn't realized the value of family and the love of family. I hope that changes. We don't get any younger and we don't live forever.

Nice looking kid you have there! Sorry you don't see him often but that is so typical of young people. I was the same way with my parents Until I was in my late 40's and mom's health took a real turn for the worse. We just get all caught up in our own lives and don't take time out for family and all as we maybe should. My girls come around quite often but it is usually to use my computer or raid my cupboards...not to sit and chat with mom. sometimes they surprise me.

Sounds like family that I have too! Only call when they need something.

He looks kind of sad to me. Does he have some substance abuse problems that cause him to become broke and hungry? I would hate it if my son were to drop contact with me. Now is the little boy his, or is that still one of your daughter's boys?

Nice to thinking share with us a photo of your son.I thought until now maybe the things was different with your son.Who knows ,maybe one day will understand him mistakes.After all the most of us maybe we did crazy things when we was younger....right grandpa. I just wish soon he grown up ,put him life in a line and build a good family just like you did.

When did you last hear from Nathan? I suspect my step son will be like this, only coming around when he wants money (which he won't get from me). I commented on the photo. As much as I would like to post my daughters from here, I never have, as I don't want weirdoes using her photo for other purposes. Attractive teenagers are vulnerable in this regard.

all we can do is wait for them to gro up some do some never do till its to late

Hi grandpa Bob, I have 5 children, 33 to 38 years old. They all have their own lives, and groups of friends. Most of them live out of town. I heard from most of them on a fairly regular basis. One lives in town and I see him frequently, since his daughter has a newspaper route for my neighborhood. Another lives 25 miles away, and works everyday, and I do mean everyday. My daughter lives 2 1/2 hours away and visits on holidays and birthdays. My youngest son lives 2 hours away and visits for holidays and birthdays, with his sister. My oldest lives 70 miles away and seldom visits, doesn't give us a phone number except his wife's, and doesn't return calls. We haven't heard from him in two years. We let him live his life, and don't bother him. When he turns 40, we decided we will all congregate at his home. Then we will see where it goes. Sometimes you just have to give kids their own space and see who they become. Sometimes it is good and sometimes it is not so good. But all you can do is be there for them if they need you. If they need you, they will let you know. They will always be your kids, and you will always love them, no matter how they trn out, or who they become. Happy posting..

its bad that he is not associated with ur family, but looks u really miss him . well call him this Christmas and enjoy time with and take a snap and post it here.
