Need a New Hobby / myLot

Tell me all about your favorite hobby or hobbies. I am looking for a new hobby, something that doesn't involve sewing. Currently I work with plastic canvas and make some interesting items but it can get boring. Any suggestions?

how about beading? you can purchase a nice selection of glass beads even at the dollar store and make jewellry for yourself and others. i do that and also crochet quite a bit. i also make my own cards and gift tags too.

Don't have the confidence in jewelry making although it's a great idea. I can and do knit once in awhile but it makes me sleepy. Don't know how to crochet so that's something I will look into. Thanks for responding and giving me new ideas.

Sorry, forgot to mention making cards or gift tags. Believe I have a gift tag pattern somewhere in my pattern pages. Below is a project I recently completed which is my design.

I do quilting (sometimes), cross stitch and pc surfing. I love to play on the net but it's mostly wasting time. I learned to cross stitch in 1991 and fell in love with it almost instantly. I have thousands of charts and it is very relaxing to do. I started out with a stamped cross stitch of a baby elephant that my Mom bought me when I was in the hospital having surgery...from there I learned regular cross stitch. There's just something about seeing a picture develop where there was none. "COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS" **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~

Thanks for your response. I've never tried cross stitch. I know what you mean about seeing a picture develop right before your eyes. The end result of a hobby is always a great feeling.

Well my hobbies are pretty normal. Nothing out of the ordinary. I am on the computer a huge chunck of the day. I use various sites like myspace..etc. I listen to music from the time i get home from school untiul i go to bed. Music is basically my life. I love it. I go to concerts alot. About 3 a month..or more. I enjoy watching movies. ..thats about it..haha
