I dont even think I can explane it. Well 2 weeks ago we left to go camping.we got there and there wer no spots that we could find. Then we saw a spot that had a chair in the way. That was against the RULES!!! So we moved the chair and parked the RV .we made sure it was ok to park there. So i hooked up the sewage elec`etc. We were all comfy and then the next weekend wy dad came up. He had his vacatoin time so he got ready to be there for a while. Then the day after he got there 3 cops pulled up and interagated my dad saying that the people camping next to us said that we were very loud and that my dad was smoking marawauna(or pot) and that we did not pay the camping fee(wich we did).the cops wer JERKS!!! parden my french. they were saying in the morning we need to go down and get a citation that was about $1.000. then in the middle of that there radios started going off. so they go see what it was and they come back and say just forget about the charges and stuff cause there was a gun fight going on that they had to stop. so they said that we had to unhook and pack up so we could leave within 2 hours or somone was gonna be arrested (for a year!) has any thing like that hapened to any of you?

Boy that was a camping trip to remember for ever. Think of it that way, you can tell your granchildren about it one day, as a funny sotry and every one can have a good laugh. You have to take this as another life experience to share. Don't take it too serious and dwell on it. Your next camping trip will be much better and you will appreciate it more. I'm surprised the police would come to that kind of call, complaint. Here in Canada the park patrols would of answered to that kind of complaint, and they don't have the authority to charge you with smoking pot. Besides the cops have more important calls to respond to, like shootings. Did you not have a camping permit you could show to the police, that you paid for your camping? I wonder what the chair symbolized. Did it mean someone was saving the spot for themselves. Or were the neighbours saving it for their friends, and so they were upset that you took the spot. Is that why they called the police, to get back at you. Who knows for sure. Just take it in stride and know that this is very unusual and will probably never happen to you again.
