Initiating church construction is sometimes frustrating...

In the Year 1986, we were one of the original residents in our community. There were no facilities yet in those days. For me, the most important necessity that I need most is a place where I could reflect myself and talk to Jesus. My mother raised me as a religious child. Because of this, I persuade my neighbors to start a prayer group known as block rosary in our community. We then requested a street mass from the parish. Through many series of fund raising projects, we were able to purchase 2,200 square meter lot from our developer. After a year we were able to start the construction. After two years we were declared as parish. However, after year our Diocese were divided into two. The lot where our church was constructed was part of the new Diocese. And, we who initiated the construction had to participate on the neighboring subdivision of our old diocese becuase we don't have a chapel yet. And we considered ourselves squatter again. It's really frustrating.

You know what, because of you I've realized that everything impossible will be possible if you're with God. Right now, you're starting from scratch again but I believe that something good will come out of it.

it's really hard to be a member of a chruch organization which doesnt provide a very good place to held our prayer and every christian activities. i am not really that involved in our chruch organization. though i am not really catholic, i really understnad your feelings that you need some decent place for your meetings and whatever you need to do as a christian. sometimes the church will be not having a right fun to continue their activities and built a decent place. it was really a problem in our small church. but luckily after the members grew to a significant and numbers and because of some individuals who gave some money, they were able to rend some place for our community. though to make our own place is much better, we are happy and contented to be able to rent a not so beautiful place but really decent enough for us to do our meetins and our prayers.
i had been active before. it was not really easy to be a christian. there are so many duties. you have to be present whenever you have church activities and i have so many responsibilities at home too. i have so many things to do before i could really attend those church activities. i believe that it is really great that if we are a member of a christian activities. it's really nice that we are able to serve the Lord in some small ways. i believe that we shoudl the Lord by giving or having some decent place to help our christian worship. in the old testament it was really important fro God for David to build Him a temple of worship. it was really a place for God to let His presence dwell. i believe that we should find a place that too where God will be able to show His presence and make his presence know. i believe besides that we should be able to live a truly christian life so that God will dwell in us too not only on the church buildings. i believe that we have really have to contribute for ourselves to the community so that we will be ablel to raise funds for the church. i hope that you will be able to find your own place in the church. Yes I do believe being active in the church, it requires double-time because we have much duties at home. When we were able to build that church I was very happy because were able to build it in just two years time. That's why with all our hardwork only to find out, we were separated. This was when I became disappointed. However, i just reflected to what happened. Maybe God has more plans instore for us.
