Most of us experience anger in some form or other almost every day.Anger is a negative emotion,it can cause violence,it can ruin relationships,it can lead to serious illnesses and it is known to kill, yet, few make the effort to try and overcome this emotion. So anger continues to affect millions worldwide. Can u supress ur anger or u express it?To be honest I do not get angry very easily but it depends who makes me angry,I supress it if I have a person I respect in front of me,I supress it when i talk to elderly people.Generaly I supress it.There r many times though that my anger becomes uncontrolable. So i burst out like a bomb. What about u?

There are some religions which teach how to control your emotions and on a more simple level its possible in my opinion to control emotions although some easier then others. The way you are raised and all the factors in your life determine how well you can cope with anger so some people might handle it with ease and others will have a hard time, especially if they are suddenly thrown into a situation that makes them very angry and they are generally laid back. Probably the best example for me is I used to have a lot of contempt for people who weren't IT minded, I mean to me the answer is blindly obvious why would it be so hard for others to understand. My lecturer once said that not everyone specializes in IT and I took what he said to heart (even though it was never directed at me) and from then on I would rarely get angry at anymore. One way that might help control anger is if something has really angered you to first try to rationalize it. Like for example if someone destroyed a prized possession try to think why they would do it, did you do something that might have given them a reason, was it an accident, were there other circumstances involved, etc. If you can fill in those blanks then you might be a bit more understanding and less likely to go nuts at them.
