Has God ever lied to us?

Why would someone who can wipe us out have to lie. He is incapable of deception, Satan will lie to you though.

God is great and the greatest of all whatever He does is for a reasons. He lies or tell the truth there must be a good reasons why... It's like human imagination, its like lying to the reality. I mean human can imagine even though it is not real, but because of that we always move forward to seek something. It would be a dull world if human being ever know all things just like God.
