The best post-war decades

Just wondering what people's opinions are on the best post-war decades,. From 50's to 00's and why. Whether it is from a personal point of view, the decade you enjoyed most, or from a cultural point of view, as in what happened for the better politically and creatively. Being 21 i only have real experience of the 90's and 00's. But i would have to choose the 60's, due to huge cultural shifts in politics, music and lifestyle, i imagine it would have been a very exciting time to live. What decade would you choose and why?
