Is this right to select the Anil Kumble as Indian test team Captain?

yes , it is a right decision, though he is 37,he can manage his duty very well, as in the case of test there is lot to do with the experience ,he he have. and also it is required to show the rest of indian team members that anything can happen in team ,and its management wants the result and not the "big fishes" then lets anil do his work, i am sure he got a great time now.!!!!

BCCI does not one more experienced player go to ICL so they have to select Mr.Kumble already discarded by BCCI

yes its right to select kumbley ..cause he is the only experience player here who have enogh capability to perform well.

By selecting Anil Kumble as a test captain ,indian cricket board,bcci,has moved back 4 years at least.it is not positive kind of decisions.It was most obvious to have Dhoni there but it seems things are not that simple as we think.

yes now only indian cricket control board providing the honorable position for anil kumble, who is the brilliant and scilent bowler for the indian team, He can manage the team very well up on his experience and personality. dont bother about his age even such stage he is keeping his bowling capacity, he is also able to join the one day team as better than current bowlers of team inda.

yeah i think it is fair enough...since sachin has denied being the captain and dhoni is not yet ready for test captaincy...

Since no one accepted the post of captain and dhoni not mature enough to lead indian in test matches, the selectors have fallen for anil kumble who is the most senior most player among them and can command respect from all the players in the team and hence he is a good choice but i feel pity for him too, as this is not going to be a easy ride for him with india having more touring games than home series, in which they have not won many number of matches so far and hence he could be blamed for the poor performance.

I think it is a fair decision to give Anil Kumble Indian Test Team Captian. Being captain is one of the best honor and dream of every member of the team. As Kumble said it is better late than never. I think Kumble will most probably play for another three years. I think right now Sourav, Sachin, and Rahul does not want to take the extra burden of captianship and if Dhoni takes the captainship it will be more stress for Dhoni as the test is a five day game and being wicket keeper, batsman, and captain will be too much for Dhoni. I think after three years Dhoni can become captain of Indian team. I think more experience is needed for Dhoni to become captain of the test team.
