Who has seen this movie?.. For me it is one of my all time favorites and I'm not too sure why. Does anyone else out there consider this one of their favorites? Do you think it is realistic how drastic the boy changed because of the girl?. Or is it only something you would ever see in the movies?

This movie tells something about how good our life can be if we want it to happen. It focus of loving, understanding, giving and accepting others as we do for ourselves.
I loved this film not just because I loved the leading actor and actress but its a must seen movie. I'll never get tired of drying my tears every time I watch it.

II love this movie, it is clean and romantic. I love the way the actors play off one another... it is one of the best films I have ever seen, besides Jayne Eyre

It is a nice movie. Mandy Moore's acting prowess was discovered in this movie. :) BUT, the book is way way much better. Try reading the book.

Ah, I've seen it, and I love it. The story was so sweet. An introverted pastor's daughter and extroverted rebel falling in love and supporting each other.
I think not only did Jamie change Landon but he changed her to be more free and live life in the moment. Though I think love can really change people, but I don't think the two would've gotten along in real life, but you never know, love is unpredictable.

I liked the movie too. It was realistic how the boy changed for the girl. When the right person comes along anything is possible.

In 1971, shortly before I graduated from high school, I went to hear this evangelist speak at a local church.
He was a young adult during the days of the gangster times of people like Al Capone, and he was mixed up in this kind of life.
We first saw a movie of his life, and it told about how his wife stuck by him and prayed for him, and he finally turned his life over to Jesus and became a new creation!!!
From there, he was called into the ministry.
After the movie was over, we got to meet the real man.
It was a very moving experience. By this time, he was white-haired and recently widowed, and he talked with great emotion about this special woman who had helped him to turn his life around.
I think that, overall, people don't want to be bad, but there are just a lot of temptations out there, and it often takes a good friend to point you to another way of living and help you to live that way until it becomes natural to you.
Anyway, I, too, love that movie--even though my very favorite one will always be It's A Wonderful Life!

Well not just in the movies. You know, if you are really inspired to do something good, or you want to change your life because of somebody whom you really love you will do it and change for the better. Im not a romantic person, but I was touch by that movie.
