allergy sufferers, still suffering

Even with the latest allergy medications available on the market, allergy sufferers are still continuing to suffer. Albeit that getting some relief for specific periods, it never last as long as you would need it, or want it to.
I have for the past twenty six years suffered from seasonal allergies, like Hayfever and Sinusitis, and have tried a dozen different over the counter as well as prescription druggs to get relief.
The PROBLEM with these druggs are, that they have in some cases strong sedative effects on you.
This in turn can be risky for drivers, and adversely affect the concentration of students and professionals, or anyone else for that matter.
The side effects are also something to keep in mind, especially when you're on other medication as well. With the new non-sedative range its easier. Some of the stronger meds can cause disorientation in some patients, as to my own personal experience with Demizine capsules.
I think voluntary tests should first be done on patients, before over the counter sales of these druggs should be allowed.
I suppose, it also in many cases goes with the territory. If you live in high pollen dispensing areas of the country, or close to industrial areas, you will be more succeptable to suffer from allergies.
Up to now, is there a permanent solution to this problem in the near future?
