Weird vibes from Grissom?

I know they're leading up to Sara leading but did anyone else get some weird vibes from Grissom on last night's two hour special with "Without A Trace", especially in the very last scene in the car. Maybe he AND Sara are going to run off and get married...now that would be a big surprise ending to the whole Sara leaving story!

Well I don't think that would happen considering Grissom has a leading part, but if they did, I would be very surprised..

It would be ery surprising to me too. If he left it would be like a whole new show.

William Peterson is one of the producers of the show...

I'm pretty sure we would have heard if William Peterson was also leaving the show. It would be pretty hard to keep a lid on something like that. I think maybe those vibes about how the job wears you down is to sort of show how reasonable it is that Sara is burning out for when she leaves.

I hope that's all it is and I do think we would have at least heard rumors if something like that was up...sometimes though they do manage to keep a lid on big secrets. From things I've read Sara's last episode will be this next one or the following one at the latest, so I guess we'll see!

Well there were rumors at the beginning of last season that Grissom might leave. But William Peterson has said in interviews that he is sticking around, so he should be with the show for at least the rest of this season. Who knows after that? Ans you're right, Sara's last show is this Thursday, Nov. 15th, according to the previews I've been seeing.

Ok thanks for verifying the date. The last I'd seen mentioned "two more episodes" (before the two hour special one) and I just wasn't sure if they were counting the special as a CSI episode or not.

CSI wouldn't be just that if Grisson wasn't on the show = I hope he isn't leaving :) I missed the last half of the two hour show last week because I forgot to change the recording time. Do you know what happened?

Honestly, I was lost. Between the kids and the phone call from the guy we're buying a truck from I missed alot. They found the guy that was the killer but he'd let the boy (his son) go and killed himself before they could "bring him in", they did find the boy later on a train. Grissom went to the other kid's parents house with the Without a Trace guy to let them know their boy's body was found and that's when they were talking about the job getting to them and how at least Grissom had something else if he were to leave. That's what got me wondering.

Grissom has asked Sara to marry him.....I don't see the both of them leaving the show though. Grissom is one of the reasons the show does so well. He has a quirky sense of humor, but he is always working to solve the crime. He is like a dog with a bone, never gives up till he has the answers. I am also wondering if they will actually get married, because of the appeal to the older women watching. They may just have something happen to Sara and keep Grissom single t keep his female appeal intact. I thought the 2 hour show was great it combined two very powerful shows and really made it work. Without a Trace is a terrific show all by itself.

The marriage proposal is one of the things that got me wondering if he'd leave too. I agree though that the show wouldn't be the same without him. I don't think he'd lose his appeal if he was married. Women like seeing a man being a good husbamd to so he might even be MORE attractive if he was married. I missed parts of the 2 hour show but I did enjoy what I saw. They are both great shows on their own and combining them was brilliant.

Maybe he was just being really sentimental about Sara leaving on next week's episode. I can't imagine CSI without Grissom! And I hope he's not leaving. I don't think he is though, maybe that was really just part of the build-up for the next episode.

I can't imagine it without Grissom either, it would be a huge shock if he left. It probably is just the way they're building up to Sara leaving.

I am not sure what is going to happen this Thursday, but I can't wait to see the show and find out if they're going to get married or if Sara will stay or go. I myself think it'd be awesome if they got married, they're a great couple. But if she does leave it'll be very sad and won't be the same without her on there. It wouldn't be the same without Grissom either, but I doubt he's going to leave. But everyone is right they do show the previews sometimes to build anticipation up to find out what will happen on the show.

I read an interview from Jorja Fox that said she is definitely leaving the show and that this week is supposed to be her last episode so...now we just have to wait 2 more days to see how they end it for Sara.

I saw in the TV guide where she was going to leave the show but she would return from time to time and Grissom would be seeing alot of her. Tonight she left.

Thanks for the information that Sarah is definitely leaving. I did not know that. If Grissom leaves, I will probably stop watching the show. I enjoy the other characters, I guess I would say equally, but none of them have a strong enough appeal to hold the audience, I think. In order for the show to continue strongly if Grissom left, they would either have to introduce a very strong new character, or create a very strong story line around one of the others, moving them to the top. I thought at one point they might have been considering that with Catherine or Warick. I believe they throw these little angles in there to leave themselves openings for other shows/seasons.
