So...I was wonder what do you think, what country, state has the best clothes? Some place you visited and you couldn't consider what to buy, becuase there was so much nice clothes?
For me it was in Italy, they have so many nice shops with clothes. although I cannot say I have seen there the best dressed woman. I have seen it in my home coutry.
HAve you seen the best dressed woman in the same state/coutry like the best clothes?

Hi laurika!
I have spent many years in England and Italy and I have visited France. I also see many people from different countries in airports and I have to agree with you that the nicest clothes are those from Italy. They are good quality in all the price ranges too. Italian women may not be the best dressed but they take care in how they dress. I overheard a conversation some years back on a plane between two young English girls on their way to Italy and the were saying that Italians dress up even to go to market and I can confirm this.
The clothes are well-made as are the shoes and the accessories and whether you go to a high street chain store or the market or a very expensive 'in' shop you will always be in difficulty as there is so much to choose from. I have been here over thirty years and the proof that clothes are well made here can be seen in my wardrobe - I have two coats I bought the very first winter I was here. The design is very classic and simple and they don't ever seem to 'date' so I wear them over and over again and they are not showing any sign yet of all this use. That makes things that seem to be expensive at the time of buying them work out very inexpensive in the long run.

This 'best' thing is quite relative !!! The choice of own best depends upon ur growing environment!! ... for an example many years ago a spcl type of saree were made in Dhaka, bangladesh called maslin ... thiese sarees can be stored in a king size match box .. imagine how soft it was then?? For a saree lover, it was the best most probably !! but for a jeans lover?? certainly not !!
But I used to dress my self in casual and normal jeans outfit!!

Hmmm.. laurika.. I have no idea to comment on which country, state has best clothes.( and still i have to drag this response for two or three lines..lol..lol..for one cent..lol, so)
But i think it depends on one's look. Yesterday i dressed up with one new shirt, brought for Diwali festival, and went to office, one of my friend told, its really nice and he loves the color and shirt, whereas the other commented that the new shirt just looked like a faded one,and he didnot like it. ( these friends really commented)
So you tell me, what shall i decide, whether my new shirt is a best attire or not?
Happy posting and take care friend.

Italy has the best shoes, I think, both in design and in construction. But as I wear mostly casual clothes, and I do mean very casual, I am fine with clothing made in the US as swe are pretty good makers of sportswear. I think dress requirements relax most in areas where there is a comfortable middle class, so how a person is dressed is no longer an indicator of their wealthy except at the extremes. But for those who take an interest in this sort of thing the men seem to be just as concerned about their appearances as are women.
Then, too, there are different views of what "best" means because, for one thing, some of the high fashion clothing seems immodest to many of us.

In this case it really confused me because I looked all other countries, women wearing all best clothes representing their native countries. So I have to categorized into two. One for local and next is international.
For local I have to admire and appreciate my country's "Baju Kebaya"(Kebaya Dress). But my country's 'Baju Kebaya' trend similitude to Indonesian and Philippines. Slight differentiation on fashion design and fashion.
For international, I think my choice is Switzerland woman dressing. I don't know how to describe but I just like it. , I mean the level my of eye-descent-looking to their dressing/wearing.
