What's up with all the road rage?

What is up with all of these drivers in the world with road rage?
I remember when you could go out for a nice drive without getting the finger. Now days, you can't even take a short drive to the grocery store without someone getting teed off about something(and it is usually their fault) and there you see it the old 1 finger salute. I have gotten to the point to where I can't stand to go out of the house. The wreckless drivers with road rage, I have children to think about--as many of you do. I just can't understand why people can't be patience and drive with sence. I mean don't get me wrong, I have a very heavy lead foot, but I don't ride the tails of the vehicle in front of me and I don't do stupid things to beat a redlight. I just wonder what is going through peoples heads when they are like this. Can't they stop and think about all of the innocent people they are putting in danger when they drive like they do. To beat it all, it is not just driving, it is hanging out the window WHILE DRIVING to yell at someone who is driving too slow for them or whatever is is that has gotten on their nerves. I have seen so many people actually do that.
Another thing that grinds my gears is people who don't pay attention to their driving, because they are too busy talking on the cell phone. I mean come on, can't it wait?

I agree and by the way love your user name,my kid loves them,anyway back to the topic,me and my husband seem to run into these people everytime we leave the house,my hubby gets mad at people going slow sometimes,but he is careful and tries to be cortious like letting people cut and get out of difficult driver ways,but you ever notice people don't even wave a thank you anymore? I talk on my cell phone but I have direct connet so my eyes never leave my suroundings,ya know?
I mean I don't understand how some of these kind of people even get driver's licenses.

I know exactly what you mean. And thanks, my kids like The Doodlebops too that's where I got it from. Icouldn't think of anything else.

I think people are just so impatient and don't really care about anyone else on the road. I mean, don't you know when you're driving you're the only one on the road? I don't know if there is anything that can every really be done about it or to fix it. Unfortunatley. People just really need to be more aware that they aren't the only ones on the road. It's best just to ignore them and that's what I do most of the time.

I know what you mean. It's almost scary to go out anymore. We were almost forced off the road by a guy who blamed us for something he did. Our 3 yr old godson was in the truck with us too. I was terrified. Thank goodness my boyfriend knows how to handle a vehicle very well in bad situations and that the guy gave up after yelling some obsenities and only trying once to push us off the road. Very scary!
