I agree it just seems like it holds interest more i think its because you dont want to miss a big hit or big play as in basketball a big play is a 3 or block which in turn does little to effect the game as where an interception can totally flip a game upside down. So I think its because its a lot easier to watch sportcenter for basketball scores but football you just have to watch to get the feel of the game.
