how can islam be true when it has produced a man such as osama bin laden?answer.

The (alleged) actions of individuals cannot be blamed on their religious faith even if what they did was in their minds, justified by religious motives. can we then blame christianity for the ku klux klan or for turning Germany into a nation who took it upon itself to rid the world of "christ killers?" can we blame christianity for causing blood to flow through the streets of jerusalem as one historican put it, "knee high to the horse(during the crusades)?" would it be fair for me to blame christianity for the actions of Vlad the Impaler who used to dip his bread into the blood of Ottoman muslims and then eat it on the battlefield? can i blame christianity for giving such things as Nazism, Atheism, Socialism, Satanism etc.? what about Jim Jones and David Kouresh?
- I really dont know much about Osama bin laden to give you educated answer. all i do know about him is what the media is telling me, and anyone will tell you that the American media is masterful in spinning things.
-Bin Laden is not the measuring stick of Islam,nor is any person or groups of persons in the world today. Rather, judge Islam by the actions of the Prophet of Islam and you will clearly see what is right and wrong.

I agree. I know many people who are muslim and they would not do anything to hurt another. if you read the Koran you will find that god does not say to do many of the things. it is the same with any religion though. Look at Indian residential schools which were done in the name of christ.
People are only human and can succome to lust and greed no matter which creed they follow.

I am born in the christian faith, but I have been interested in the muslim sect. One of my friend muslim told me that there is a difference between muslim and Islamic muslims. Muslims are those who are fearless and will kill if provoked, Islamic muslim are people who have studied the teachings and love peace. They will not hurt anyone. They will not create war that is senseless. Islam is a great religion and I admire people who have put this religion into their hearts. Too bad I was born with a Catholic family, my father won't allow me to convert because, like most people, they dont know the difference.

There is nothing like muslims and Islamic muslims, we all are muslims, good muslims and bad muslims. muslims will never ever hurt innocent people if they follow the instructions Allah has given to us in Holy Book Quran.
bad muslims are like black sheeps in the community creating mischief in the land which is against the teachings of Islam.
it is written in Quran that if a muslim kills an innocent man it is like he has murdered the whole mankind and if he saves an innocent life it is as if he has saved the whole mankind.
if you are influenced by Islam you should accept it, dont delay in reverting to Islam as you never know whats going to happen next moment. i understand its hard and difficult to revert, there is a solution to it, if you know and understand Islam and think that its a true religion then accept in your heart as Allah is knower of all things, nothing is hidden from Allah(only God).

First of all I want to let yoy know that I am posting for the first time in mylot.So if I fail to express myself, please consider.
Coming to the topic, I am actually a bit puzzled with the question, because to me actions of people like Osama are not liable to Islam or any other religion for that matter. I am not a muslim and I haven't had that previlege to go through the Koran, but still I can vouch on the fact that there can be no religion preaching terrorism. There cannot be any reason or explanation for causing even a single innocent life.
So my dear friend I totally agree with you in this regard and request everybody to shed any communal views regarding any mass devastation because its like a tsunami, which does not belong to any particular race or religion.
