Deafening fire crackers

It's that time of the year againAre you also troubled by the deafening noises? yes, i am referring to those deafening bombs exploding all around us every diwali?don't get me wrong..i am not against celebrating diwali..however, i would like people to realize the kind of disturbance they cause to so many around them in pursuit of their enjoyment..my mom has splliting headaches for the last 2 days becoz of the non stop crackers bursting all around..why cant we resort to crackers which look more beautiful and make lesser noise?

You might have a point there. I am against noise pollution myself. But, the noisier aspect of the Diwali celebrations hardly affect me because I am living in a quiet suburb. In fact, I have hardly heard more than a couple of fireworks go off this year.
