Hi, Mukthyala, is located near Jaggayapet, Krishna District. recently people in andhra pradesh are hearing about this place becoz "Koti Linga Maha Siva Kshetram" was started. The main theme is construction of 1 crore Siva Lingas in this temple. Nearly it may take 8 years of time for the entire process. From next march onwards, daily nearly 3,000 siva lingas are going to be placed in the temple premises. And one more interesting and a new idea is the main temple is surrounded by 108 small temples. This is a high light point. IN VEDAS:In vedas there is a place for Mukthyala so called Muktheswaram. Lord Shiva (Hindu Diety) had been here in siva linga form. Rushi's and muni's came for chanting and meditation of lord shiva. step by step this place occupied a prominent role in Siva Purana. Let us wish that the project "Koti Linga Maha Siva Kshetram" is a big one, but to be completed as soon as possible.
